i had a low rpm cough for awhile hot or cold it didnt matter. i put the napa hose #7335 on today and low and behold it was gone. hip hip horay. i noticed a little more zip from the bottom & mid range. i plan to do the nyroc muffler mods tuesday after i get the drill bit out of my locker at work. nyroc, if you found the hose then you are a prairie god! thanks deerchooper

 

Thanx for the report...did you rejet with the Napa hose to account for the extra air?

BTW, please report back with your results using the Nyroc mod...I'm thinking of doing both the Napa and Nyroc mod soon.

I just did the nyroc muffler mod last week 6 3/8 holes love it did you have to rejet for napa hose? was it hard to install

No I did not rejet,runs great I like the nyroc mod sound a lot better than aftermart pipes had a hmf to loud for me gave it to my son he likes it loud felt like i had more power with the mod maybe will have H/L module Tuesday A friend has one all he has muffler mod and module in 55* weather he beats me in drag about 31/2 to 4 bike lengths every time. There is so much talk about module makes head rattle who cares if a 650p runs 80 top end I donot ride mine on Interstate I like his low end power that he has now after module

 

you asked if the hose was hard to install? not really. you have to lift your front plastic up a little bit to remove old snorkel & to install new hose. you have to cut napa hose a little bit as well. i dont know how everybody else is doing it but i shoved the hose into the orignal snorkel clamp. it holds pretty tight for rubber to rubber seal plus the rubber water flap holds it in place. i hear you on the module talk but this new one (coming out soon) is going to help you beat your buddy,how whell your timming wont drop off and his will. you will just keep going & going & going (like the bunny).

 

you will get better air flow if you connect the napa hose directly to the air box and clamp it securly using the original hose clamp. the rubber to rubber fit will eventually leak or come apart. it makes a great improvement! rop.

i installed the nyroc muffler mod yesterday/ had to jet. i like it alot but to much snow,ice to tell how much power i really gained. i had it in 4wheel drive and when it hooked up the front end would raise & pull pretty strong then i hit more ice. where is the warm weather at i want to play.
