Banshee's are kind of an all-out quad. They're kinda high-strung so light trail ridng doesn't really fit them too well. I'm sure that there's people out there who use em for that purpose quite happily tho ..

With the right mods, then can be quite trail friendly. A 2 to 1 carb or exhaust helps broaden the powerband, but limits top end. Most guys on here have built all top end race machines, so the advise you'll get is conflicting. I went the 2 to 1 carb route and love the results.

with the right parts o can do anything with a banshee that u want from the trail to the track and both and yea the 2-1 carb and exhoust will take away top end but u will still probably have more than you buddys get the banshee and the first time you ride it you will never let it go

with enouh money you can make any quad fit any style ridding......but, stock the banshee is more well suited for wide open runs, drag racing, and duneing.......
but I have seen some bad @ss MX shees..........

Cuz if you let go, it's gone on without you .. that really hurts the a$$!! LOL
I've never heard of the 2-1 carb and exhaust mods for the banshee .. so basically you install a 2-1 header on the intake and exhaust and connect up only one each of the exh. and carb? Or do you fully replace the stock carbs and exh. with slightly larger ones?
Be a pretty sweet way to have it actaully .. depending on how long it takes to switch, i mean, even if it takes the better part of a day or evening to do you can switch back and forth depending on where you're going riding .. awesome!!!
One awesome machine the banshee is

trenity makes the cv carb set up in either a dingle 33 or 35 mm carb i cant remember who makes the exhoust i think dmc makes it cant remember but i would say u could switch it out in about 5 hours after the first couple times of tring for the better part of a day lol naa if u take the pipes off then the carbs are easy to get to then just replace the carbs befor u put the other pips back on its really no big deal

I have some pics at home I'll post on my site a provide a link to later tonight.
The 2 to 1 carb setup is an aluminum manifold that goes from one carb to both cylinders. The trinity kits use either a 33mm or 35mm. The kit I have, by Motofast, is no longer available. It uses a 40mm Lectron carb. I think this is the best of both worlds. You still get low end torque, but the 40mm carb flows quite comparably to the stock 26mm's so there is no noticeable loss of top end.
The 2 to 1 exhaust is two pipes out of the cylinders which merge almost immediately into a larger single pipe. These are said to flow about the same as stock, so top end really is limited by these, but they really help bottom end and sound cool too!
I have been told that both 2 to 1 carb AND exhaust is overkill. You would get great torque, but top end would really suck. So I did the carb setup first, rode it, and decided I had enough low end now.
