Now THAT'S a good question !!! talk about a toss up ! If you are a bigger, taller person, you would probably feel more at ease on the Scrambler, the belt drive lets you drive, not shift, so you can just gas and go. The Wolverine with the 424 can kick the back end around like a sportier quad, and you have engine braking for steep downhills. The Wolverine is lighter, with a little more ground clearance, but has less hp due to a smaller engine than the 400cc 2 stroke or 500 cc four stroke on the Scrambler. Both ride trails great, so the best thing to do is ride both and decide for yourself. I have driven both, and chose the Wolverine just out of my personal preference, not because of Polaris/Yamaha loyalty. ( Hey, I just bought a Polaris sled !! )
