I am new to atv's, But I have looked at all the different brands and have decided to buy a polaris. But now I don't know which one to get, I like the magnum and the trail boss. It will be used mostly to just ride but I also will use it to pull a swisher trail cutter to mow 14 acres. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

The Magnum is better for pulling your mower due to it having a four stroke engine. In addition, the magnum is shaft drive verse chain drive on the trail blazer.

 

on the other hand the scrammy is a blast on trails. i put a rack on mine and it has a hitch for working,,it does every thing i want it to do , i pull a traler with wood, and stuff . mines a 2stroke, but the new ones have an option of that and a 4stroke 500 ,if you bye used make shure your 500 is a high output or you might be unimpressed with the power,[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

The Trail boss is a 4 stroker. The new ones are 330 cc's. We have an 02 Trail Boss. It does not have alot of power. It is a decent machine, and is light, agile and fun to ride. Especially after we dropped a tooth on the front sprocket to give it a low end boost. If you can afford it, I would highly recommend a 500 Sportsman. We have three of them, and they are excellent machines. They will pull or push most anything you need them to. They ride excellent, and have plenty of power. The ride is second to none. Don't let anyone tell you that belt driven quads are no good, that's a load. We've got around 12 thousand miles on our three, in less than 2 years. They are great quads.
