Speed and acceleration is the most important thing to me, but I also wanna be able to jump.

I was thinkin about getting a Warrior, but the 18hp rating does not impress me. I had a 200SX before (12 hp?) and it did not impress me at all. I want somethin pretty fast, but dont have much money. Theres nothin that would hang with the ZR600 snowmobile is there?

My dad says the old honda 250R (i would have to get a 3 wheeler) and 350X had much much more power than that.

If I wanted somethin fast within my budget would it have to be somethin really old like that? (I expect to have between 2-3 thousand)

 

Stay away from the Warrior! I know, I rode one for years. I would suggest something like a 400EX. You should be able to find a used one at a reasonable price.

Look for a 400EX....They aren't hard to find at all under $3000 and have more potential than a Warrior.

 

I see 250R quads for 3200 and 3300 all the time, whats wrong with them? I like 2 strokes a lot. Ill keep the 400EX in mind though.

If I have under 2000 would I be nhappy with a 250R ATC?

 

for aroung $4800 you can pick up a kawasaki kfx 400. they are powerful and nimble. i would jet the carb, throw on a pro circut pipe and ride the hell out of it. they are fast and great for the price!

 

hey u can't go wrong with the yfz 450 it is awesome. I bought one, a week ago and it is more than I had dreamed of. It has all the characteristics you need in a quad, not as fast as a banshee or a raptor on top-end but it accelerates very fast and it does climb hills very good. its @ 3" lower on seat height than my 660 raptor and is @ 3" wider. It handles like a dream. You will love it. REMEMBER: you get what you pay for!

 

I cant afford somethin like that. 3000 is probably pushin it, I cant get anything more expensive than a 300EX.

I found an 02 400EX that looks really good but my dad wont take me to look at it cuz its about 6 hours away. 3000 bucks tough, great deal.

 

There is nothing ATV wise that will hang with the ZR, get yourself a Firecat!!!!
