I ordered me some realtor tires for the old scrammy...I received them about a week ago....Not thinking to actually check them (because you know you figure when you order brand new tires they are 100% in great shape since they are brand new) well I took them to get them mounted on my wheels...which was 30 bucks..but when they mounted them..they found 5 blemishes....week spots all on one side of one of my tires...the spots were so week you could almost push your finger right through the rubber...so I had to spend 7 bucks to get that one tire unmounted..now I have to send one of my tires back and then wait for them to send me a new one and get it remounted again...This is bigtime BS..So I wont be riding for another week and a half or so..I'm so ticked[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

 

Can't blame ya there. That really blows!! That's the worst about mail order items .. if they're not what you expected you have to return it and wait yet again !!! I always try to buy local, even if it means spending a little more $$. Sorry to hear about your experience .. stick it to the manufacturer .. maybe you'll get something good in return??

 

That sucks they charged you 7 dollars to unmount the bad tire. they should have did it for free. are they gonna change you money to mount the new tire when u get it. but that sucks bout the bad tire.

 

I'm presuming that they were just installing tires that he brought to them, not ones that he bought from them. In this case they are doing work on something they didn't sell, so no warranties stated or implied by them .. you want something done you gotta pay .. that being said, lots of places will do that for nada, knowing that you'll be back to get the good tire installed. As an adder, I think the tire manufacturer should be made to pay for all the additional charges associated with dismounting, sending back and remounting the new tire ..

 

don't order tires from rockymountain bad place they will give you the wrong size

 

I've ordered 2 sets of tires from rocky mountain atv and gotten the right sizes both times, and before I expected to get them, at a good price, I would definately order from them.

 

me too I have had great luck with Rocky Mountain and would order from them again!! Gotten 2 different sets of paddles and a pipe in the last few weeks

i know a person that bought tires from them and one was 2 inches different and some one else i know bought a piston from them and it was the wrong size and hit the sparkplug

 

I think that is unfair. They have one of the biggest selections I have seen anywhere, plus they have the best prices around. Sure, they prolly make some mistakes, who doesnt?
