Has anyone treid HMF exhaust on p700?

I saw in Dirt Wheels mag HMF has both a slip on and a full exhaust for the p700. I was just wondering if these are much louder than stock? I want it to breath good but I'd like the noise level to stay as mild as possible. Any sugestions? Thanks.

It is loud. The "quiet core" HMF offers for it is not something I would be proud of.....did I mention that it is loud? But IMO, it's hard to produce hp without being loud; something's got to give.

Thanks for the info n2xlr8n. I knew it would be louder than stock but I was hoping it wouldn't be that loud. They say a kaw can't breath with a clothes pin on it's nose and a cork in it a$$ so I guess i'll have to pull them off and let it breath.

I know this is terribly subjective, but I ride with a guy (who's always in front of me) has a Big Gun on his Grizzly.....I can barely hear mine under me. It's not as loud as some; to me the power is worth it. Talk to some folks, ask around, I think the HMF makes the most power under the curve.

I have the HMF on my p700 also . It's louder than stock but it sounds good . I just ordered the quiet core for it to see how it does . n2xlr8n did you have to change any jetting after putting in the quiet core ? I have the 143 front and 145 rear mains .

My i suggest the ProCircuit Type 496!!!! This pipe sounds AWESOME!!!!! Most of my buddies own rincons, one with an HMF and one with a Powetech4. Both agree they are louder then mine and mine has a better note. But it's hard to beat the sound of a twin Now i just gotta get the Dial-a-jets and carb in synce with each other...........
lookin into the PC type 496.........the numbers mean 4 stroke and 96 dB. The PC T-4 and HMF are both over 100 db without q-cores and the q-core on the hmf kills any gains it makes.

Thanks for the info VTPrairie . I mainly got the quiet core so I wouldn't have to put my stock exhaust back on for hunting season . I't should be a lot easier to take in and out .
