Default 2002 400ex vs z400

i do not think a 2002 400ex could keep up with a z400 in a drag. what mods could i get to make the 400ex keep up with the z400. also stock for stock how does the 2002 400ex compare to a z400 in power and acceleration. thanks.

your right, the 400EX is a little bit slower than the Z400/DVX/LTZ but not that much slower...throw a slip on or full kit pipe on your 400EX and that should be enough...and if it isnt get a clutch kit...and when they're both bone stock the kawisukicat has just a little bit better in the power and acceleration, but a good driver on a 400ex could beat a sloppy driver on a z400....then move to the track and that little difference in power isnt gonna make all that big of deal...all in the driver

Our 400EX has a K&N, header and muffler, and is pretty hot for an EX. Full throtle down a desert wash, a STOCK Z will slowly walk away from it.

Yeah..
My neighbor just got a couple of z400's, and came over telling me that its 2 quad lengths faster than EX in a drag. I raced him on my 400ex, and beat him, but only because i have mods, and his Z is stock..i think stock for stock, the z pulls away..it seems like a nice bike...
