sp500h.o in snow

How does the 2004.5 sp500h.o ride in snow? Such as spining wheels all the time etc. or getting stuck and over all 1-10 rate it in the snow?? I thinking about getting one of these and i need suggestions?

I can only vouch for a 04+ 700 EFI in the snow. any amount of snow greater than say 8 inches you'll spin your tires all day if your not in 4x4. Usually I only get stuck in snow over 2 ft. The new Badlands tires on the new 04+'s work all right in the snow in my opinion but i already have a spare set of mud/snow tires for my 700 EFI.

Polarisman,
I have a 04.5 500HO. I am very happy with its performance in the snow. I plow with the machine and even when packing snow into a pile thats 5 foot high. I can feel the tires digging in and grabbing, but moving a couple hundred pounds of packed snow, i guess, is just too much for the ol' girl. lol. Hope this helps ya.

I have a 04.5 sp600 and the wife has a 04 sp500 HO. We've taken them out in the snow numerous times here in CO. The last time we went out we had just had a nice fresh snow storm that dumped over 2' in the mountains and both machines did great! We just locked 'em in 4x4 and off we went! Nothing slowed us down. I'd totally recommend either of these. We both got winches on ours for christmas but we haven't had any reason to use them yet....can't decide if thats a good thing or not. I'd rate them a 9.

I don't notice it at all when it kicks into AWD. There's no clunking or jerking at all. All I know is that it keeps pulling me thru the snow, mud, whatever.
