Default Dura Blue ?

Will the stock axle nut work with the durablue axle on a Z400?

I think they are interchangable but I have never done it. I don't have any experiences with Dura Blue but I have heard they aren't that good....so others are known to call them "Dura Bend"

I have a 2004 kfx400 with a durablue heavy duty axle and the stock axle nuts will work, they were just a little harder to put on the durablue axle than the stock one.

I can't speak for the Z400 but I installed a Durablue mid level axle on my old 250X ( I think it was a Pro series) and it held up fine. I did have a problem theading the stock axle nuts on because the coating covered the threads and made it difficult to thread the nut on, otherwise it was fine. I had no problems.

My axle didn't come with any hub nuts either. I had to use my factory hub nuts, just lube the end of the axle and find you a good torque wrench. Hey look on the inside of the box the axle came in there should be some spacers to fill in the gap between your stock hubs and the axle.
