I just went riding with my friend last saturday (yesterday) and we went dragging on this strip of land. He has a HMF pipe, K&N air filter, re-jetted..the whole shabang. I still have my stock pipe. He smoked me. When i get my Yoshi Full System, with the airfilter, and re-jett kit...will i be able to smoke him? Or will we be about the same?

 

When you say he smoked you, was it really that bad? But I think when you get those mods you'll probably be ahead

all brands have some models that are slow...but the new 450 is slow? I think there are some honda's just as fast as whatever you have

 

I rode a Z-250. It was pretty slow. I think a 250ex would be faster. The auto clutch seemed to take a long time to engage.

I do wish my Mojave had a shaft drive though.

 

ummm no? 250r could smoke a lot of stuff and the trx450 is a fast machine.

 

With all of those mods done to the EX, I'm surprised he was only 2 quads ahead of you.

Stock vs stock, the 250EX is ahead of the Z about 2 quads.
