How Often Should I Change Hub Oil... 03 Sp 400...

I think you just remove the tire, and then take the cover off. I'm not sure, but your owners manual should tell you how to. I would just use the recommended Polaris hub oil at you dealership.

If you have external hubs like I do on my 335SP I change them 5 or 6 times a year it is very simple just take wheel off each side, remove set screw and drain fluid, fill at 12 o'clock and then drain at 4 o'clock replace set screw and you are away. I use a synthentic ATF for hub fluid which is cheap so I do it more than recomended. If you notice a lot of wheel drag you should change the fluid.

Check it every couple rides . Change it once a year and use polaris awd fluid.

I believe polaris recommends checking it every 25 hrs. / 250 miles, and to change it annually. Definitley use Polaris Hub Fluid! Using different oils can cause unwanted hub engagement.
