I have 2 ??? ..... I put a clamp on k&N filter on my predator becuase i had to rip my airbox out for the pipes and it is running bad.... It boggs out whenever i go to stab it like its getting to much air... Does anyone know if this could be the problem or if it is something else,, i am also running a 170 main... Also i was doing some wheelies yesterday and the grab bar hit in the back and bent right away... The end caps on my pipes also bent and are shot now.. does anyone know if there is a bar out for the pred that is straight and long that will go past the pipes and not bend when i hit the ground???? thanks for the help

 

sounds like jetting, what most ppl do is weld one up out of steel and bolt it on or weld it on or u could just make a whole new one to go in place of stock. scott

 

you need a 50 pilot
i have a 172.5 MJ in mine right now... and its LEAN on top... so his jetting might not be to fat.

 

once its warmed up. Stab it with the choke on a bit, if it gets better your getting to much air. gets worse, your jet is 2 big.

 

Hozed what is the stock jetting 150 main?

 

150 main 120 pilot.

it runs bad at about 1/2 to open throttle so it must be the main right? thanks for the help

 

Here's a nice little list from the Polaris Dealer website:

Bottom of carb
pilot jet 45
Jet 42.5
Main jet 150

On the intake side of carb
Main jet 110
Jet 120

 

stock jettin is 150 main and a 45 pilot... when adding a clamp on and my pipe i am at 172.5 and a 50 pilot and it is a tad lean up top... gonna try a 175 or 177.5 this weekend
