whenever my buddy rides his prairie hard, the airbox fills with oil. my V does it after alot of long wheelies, but he's on all four wheels. anybody know? it's all stock.

 

Just make sure he didnt overfill his oil and no matter what there will be a little oil in the airbox the case is vented there. Mine always has a small amount in it

 

the oil level is too high or the oil type is not right.

The same thing happened to me when the dealer that I had service the bike overfilled the crankcase. You would think they would have known how much oil it takes being a kawi dealer and all. Needless to say I swiched dealers after that screwed up deal.

 

When I bought my 650 I had the same problem. The air box was full of oil and blowing smoke. I took it back to the dealer and they found it was overfilled with oil. When checking oil level make sure you screw the dipstick all the way down then back out to check. Have fun.

 

My dealer overfilled the oil as well.
