If you could buy a p650 or a V-force?

If you had the choice between a '03 650 prairie or a '04 carbon V-Force what would you get? I mostly ride trails, the river and just blast around. I like to climb hills and I do Hunt during deer season (15 - 20 days a year).
Thats my delima. So what do you think?

prarie...reasons why
1. you will be using it to hunt with and why would you take a a sport quad hunting
2.prarie has plenty of power and good speed (from what is told here)
3. the LE carbon plastic I heard is brittle and will break and they charge an arm and a leg for new plastic
4. 4 wheel drive for the river crossings

You can do all of that, except the hunting, on a V. If you are planning on dragging out your deer, then the Prairie is what you need. I have ridden both, and I think I would chose the V, if you don't need the work capabilities.

I have V and I love it, but let me tell you I sure would like a 4x4 alot. I whent riding with nyroc and I loved his prarie, it was real fast and I had to really try to keep up with him in the woods. The V is a little hard on your a$$ and the prarie is like riding a caddy compared to it. As a matter of fact I almost traded it in for one but the loss was to great so I will hold on to my V.
No matter what you get you will want the other at one point or another depending if its muddy or not.

I have ridden both and IMO would go with the Prairie. It is capable of more than most people realize. It can do whatever you want it to: climb, mud, speed, work, etc. The suspension is great! And as far as most people not being aware of its capabilities...for example, FD racing just raced in a 6-hour race in Texas about a week ago....overall in the race of all sport quads except two, they placed 13th out of 26....there were 9 pro teams...they would have been 3rd place in the A class (almost pro). So, for a "utility" machine to perform so well (granted, it has a couple mods), I think it meets the criteria of a true sport utility.

Get the Prairie, I have both Quads and for what youll be doing. The 4x4 is your best choice. Its got a lot of power and is the fastest 4x4 on the market..

I am dealling with this same kind of choice. I am modding my Prairie and getting some different tires etc. Hope that it will do everything I want then and be sporty enough then to make me happy. If not I will give it to my wife and trade her suzuki in on a V-Force. I hope the Prairie is going to handle well enough and pick up enough extra power to make me happy. My plan is Nyroc Mod to Muffler, dual snorkles to air box, new filter, CDI progressive springs new tires, possible different clutch springs. Will tell everyone how it turns out I should have it done buy May.

V-Force,You can chase down the DEER for hunting LOL There both good atv's,I had same problem when I was buying.I have a buddy that has a prairie,he said he wished he got the V-Force.I let him ride mine and he was hooked.I will soon be buying a prairie for the wife, best of both worlds.
