Default FAST ON VFORCE?? NO WAY I WILL DIE

yesterday my brother-in-law and i took my two v-forces to his dads soon-to-be storage lot. there was a fairly flat dirt road that went all the way around the perimeter of the lot that was really fun. when we would drag we would get up to full speed but then the steering started going crazy...the bike kinda pulled back and forth until i got freaked out and slowed down. i tried to hold the handle bar as steady as possible but it still pulled left to right back and forth until i slowed down again!! WHAT DO I DO I WANT TO GO FAST BUT I DON"T WANT TO DIEEEEE!!! something with the alignment? something with the toe-in....? PLEASE HELP

How's your air pressure in the tires?

Yep, I’d say check your tire pressures 1st (right and left front tires need to be the same, as do the right and left back tires). If it’s still unstable after that, check your front end alignment. My V-Force was toed-in slightly when I got it and it exhibited the behavior that you described (especially on pavement). I adjusted the tie rods so the wheels toed out slightly and made a major improvement in straight line stability…

Mine acted the same way as 2TVs. I fixed it the same way he did.

The pressure is an easy fix, & the problem alot... I just was looking at a new V Force on the show room floor... the right front tire was hard as a rock... at least 25-30 psi... the left front was hard, but at least 1/2 that pressure... I'd bet that that quad set up that way from the dealer would be nearly suicidal at top speed... I try about 4psi in each front & see what that does...
