Default CT Pipe for KFX-700

OK what is the deal? Where can I get a CT pipe for my V? From what their website says about what they can do for the Raptor or the DS-650 you would expect them to be able to get 50 horses out of the V-Force, but I can't find any info on their site or anywhere else. Who will sell me a CT pipe/kit for my V?

Hey flash...

I've been e-mailing ct for months now regarding the release date on the ct pipe. They are treating the V force owners like stepchildren. They are almost ready to release the 450r pipe and the V has been out for a year now. I was very impressed on the job they did with extracting more power than anyone else on the raptor and z400 pipes. Unfortunately, I found out that the V force ct pipe is going to be a 2 into 1 system. I really like the idea of duals on my V and I myself can't see spending that kind of $$ and not having a true dual system.

I like the idea and appearance of duals as well... but I'm not going to let that prejudice get in the way of POWER. If the CTs live up to the potential hinted at by their success with the other quads I'm going to say adios to duals and go 2 into 1.

But I swear I thought I remembered seeing profiles of people who had the CTs on their Vs. Dang it.

OK vtwiner that was the picture I remembered, but i just looked again and that's a CT pipe but not on a v-Force... looks like a KFX400... the chain was a giveaway.

So back to the drawing board. On kawieriders there is an argument going on about who designs and manufactures the CT pipes. Some guy is saying that Power Pros designs them and CT slaps their name on them, which I am not buying as CT has a track record of kicking butt with their pipes and while Power Pros does do some design I think they're mostly manufacturing for others. But who knows? Maybe someone on the forum knows.

There is also confusion about whether or not they are out as one CT rep is saying "on the back burner, no schedule" and another CT rep is saying "ready this Friday."

I'm really disappointed in the sorry websites of most of these aftermarket mod manufacturers.

So... If anyone knows where I can buy a CT 2 into 1 pipe for my V-Force please help. I emailed CT Racing and if I get a response I will share it here.

blah blah... rubber side down... blah blah...

Thanks Rotty... I remember that monster now. Did he modify the CT pipe to fit or did he buy it from CT ready to go on the V-Force? I'm asking because I CAN'T FIND ANY TO BUY.

I will have a Muzzy and a LTE Duel set up to try on a stocker and a full out 800cc kitted V-Force in the next week or so.

Hey Mickey, that Muzzy is two into one and the LTE is supposedly manufactured to be dual pipes with the one pipe longer than the other but done in such a way to give more HP's is this correct? The Muzzt pipe is 1 3/8" however the LTE is the only pipe to use true 1 1/2" from head pipe back correct? Just info I heard, want to confirm with you Mickey since you have both in your posession. We are dyiing to hear which is better with that monster 800 kit of yours. Keep us posted.

Here's a quote from Allen Knowles at CT Racing:

"We will have the pipe for the 700 soon it will be on the web site."
