Ok i am 16 5'11" 180 and this is going to be my first quad. I rode a blaster the other day and got the hang of the clutch and all so i know what i am doing pretty much. I would like to do jumps, sand dunes, hill climbing, and racing. My friends have blasters but people tell me i am to old and big really for a blaster. I make 500 a month and pay car insurance for my car that is like 140 a month and i have 1200 in the bank.

Well, you're gonna have to wait a few months to buy the quad but I'd go with the Banshee all the way. If your friends are all running two strokes, why not run a two stroke as well =) The 400EX is also a good choice but if you ever want to really get a good top speed, modifications on the Banshee are a little easier and cheaper to do.
Also, I am 5' 10" or 5' 11" and I weigh 180 pounds as well and I ride a Blaster and it's not small for me at all. Plus the Blasters are pretty cheap and you could get one within a month or two.

Get the blaster you seem to have made up your mind already. In fact you should be able to find one used for around 2000 bucks and have a little for Mods such as suspension, so that it may be tuned to your weight. Good Luck

Get a warrior. It isn't high performance, but it's between a blaster and a banshee. You won't have the 2 stroke hit, but you will have a fairly large atv with pretty good top speed. You can find a fairly new one for pretty cheap around here. they are good atv's. I wanted before I got my banshee. I've heard a mix of good and bad things about the warrior but, of course, all have their goods and bads. Alot of aftermarkets are made for the warrior and it wouldn't take much for it to run with a stock banshee. (maybe?) Later,

I agree get a Warrior for sure they make and Excellent first time quad, plus they are way more reliable than the Blaster, they are bigger , have reverse, which don't let anyone tell you other wise is a much used and liked option. Electric start which rules. Plus you can beat your Blaster friends, the Warrior is faster than the Blaster. I am 5 foot 10 and 175 lbs and find the Blaster tiny , I had a Warrior and it is a nice machine. And I never lost to a Blaster not once.

Blasters are fun. you aren't too big for one.
I'm 6' and 190 i had no trouble with my blaster.
Have you thought about the 300EX? It's a nice quad. If you like trails, jumping, MX, it's not fast by any means, Tops out about 52 or so. Lots of Lowend and midrange power. It had a faster track time than a Mojave, Blaster and warrior. I'm sure can be very competive in a race with one.
Just a suggestion

94DGblaster, I feel cramped coming off my banshee and getting on my friend's 300ex. The warrior is bigger than the EX but, it dosen't have the longed, Honda Reliability. The warrior is a few mph faster, but the 300ex handles, jumps, wheelies, and rides better than the warrior. I'm 5'8" 160 and it feels good to me, just a little small. Over all, either of these would be great bikes, the choice is yours. later,
