I just got the word Straight from polaris, that they are going to RECALL the 04 Predator for a brake line problem.
This is the same problem that I wrote about on this forum about a week or two after I got the quad.
The problem was the brake lines were braking at the junction box,on the flare fitting inside the box.
Well, my fix worked good but, it seems that polaris has some fix in the works and plan on using it.
My dealer said that I get credit for being the frist to bring it to there attention and POLARIS is going to give me some KInd of Store Credit. Also refund me money I spent on the Brake lines.
POLARIS IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN!!!
I don't think Yamaha would ever do the same for there owers.

It's not just '04 Predators, it's all Predators built before 2/27/04.

 

So i should call my dealer up and ask them about it??

 

I would,Polaris will cover it!!!

 

You should not waste your time. Dealers do not have any of the repair kits yet.

Yes I heard the same thing .But I also Heard that the fix will be out around the 15th of this month.
