my jets are bigger than yours
#1
why are my jets bigger than everyone else? 02 650p napa#7335,nyroc muffler(6- 3/8 inch holes,no spark arrester ), 162r/158f jets(KEHIN), stock air filter, stock plugs. is it possible that the 2002 flat air filter flows better? my evel. is from 900 feet to 1200 feet. everyone that did the same mods AT THE SAME EVEL. have smaller jets, WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? my plugs are off white (white, light gray). i go down to 152f/155r and i lose my top end. is their more carb adjustments that im missing? i turned my pilots, shimed needles .033 thou.
IT RUNS GOOD, I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY MY JETS ARE BIGGER

You did all the mods? Could someone have installed/modified the needles? Are they the stock profile? Those jets are REAL fat, for here in Ohio. Did the bike come from out west, the Rockies, or somewhere else high elev.?

I ran the 158/162 combo in my old 650 but it had bigger cams, HMF exhaust, airbox mod, Diamond G intake snorkel, and a few other mods. It ran great and it would run 68 mph all day long. The fastest I ever had it was 71mph right after all the mods and with a new belt.
