Default 00 Magnum Gear Grinding, Experts? Help?

My son has a 00 Magnum 325 that has a problem when he shifts into gear. It grinds and sometimes he can barely get it in gear. It does it every time. Idle is fine, its not too high. Anyone experience this problem? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums

Well, it can only grind if it's idling to high.. Because the trans must be spinning for it to grind... pull the PVT cover and start the quad see if the clutch is engaging...

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

TRy checking the shift arm on top of the tranny,They will strip out and cause slop in the shifter not letting it go in gear all the way.
