hey guys just a quick question which would be better for just trail riding and some gravel roads i dont really need alot of speed just mostly reliability and a good ride i like throttle response but neck breaking response is not a must lol

anyway which do you think would be best

Will you need 4wd? The scrambler is the best trail quad it will go right through things the raptor would only only dream about... Pretty fast 65-68 stock, with mods its a beast!!

The raptors are ok quads, but are top heavy (yes i know the scrambler is too) they are still breaking trannies yamaha don't stand behind their products, i could go on and on...

If you don't need 4wd go with the predator!

 

i have a 95 scrammy 4x4 i have only had it for a week but it was lacking top end because of running lean so my neighbor tried to fix it and messed it up lol so i had to put it in the shop i only got to ride it for like an hour b4 he messed it up so i dont think i have an opinion yet lol but hopefully i will get it back the retards at the shop promised to have it back on saturday and i still havnt got it back but as far as i can tell i like the ride

what is the performance difference between my 2 stroke and a 4 stroke like low end and speed

 

Well the 4 strokes have the low end no question about that, tons of low end power and torque... The 2 stroke will always be faster (in this case) and they respond to mods better then a 4 stroke...

For trail riding and such, I think the Scrammy would be way better. It just makes sense for what you are wanting. In 2wd, its gonna be a good trail machine, in AWD, your gonna be able to go throught the places were the raptor has to turn around.
