Default Repairing cracked fender plastic

Well, I rolled/tipped the V on its side. Came to a sliding stop and it got real light and basically flopped on its side at about 2 mph. Right in eyeshot of my two riding partners. Boy did I feel like an itiot !! The only thing hurt was my pride

Anyhow, I took a chunk out of the edge of my fender and have about a 4" crack. How do I deal with that? Drill small hole to stop the crack? Epoxy the crack closed? I figured bond the remaining crack, sand smooth and throw a Elka sticker over it

I was going to "race cut" the fender to "blend" the missing chunk in by removing it. How do you do a decent job of cutting the plastic. I was thinking a hot knife, roto zip or I guess a utility knife with a brand new sharp blade.

What are the "tricks" to doing a decent job?
