what are you running for a main jet. It has the 12.5-1 compression piston and a fmf pipe. I have a 200 in it now.

that sounds a little big to me. i only run a 406ex so i am not sure. i run a 155 to 160 with my airbox lid on in my 406 depending on weather conditions. i wouldn't think you would need bigger than a 180 main.

davegex-My wife has a 440 with a 11:1 compression and we run anywhere from a 168 to a 172 and this is at sea level to 1000 feet.If you are talking about a keihin 200 main that would be very large for your 440 and you would be running rich regardless of your elevation.A friend that i ride with has a 12.5:1 440 and he uses a 165 to 175 at sea level to 1000 feet and his runs very strong.

I live in southern ohio and I only run a 160 main in my 440, with the pilot jet one size up.

I live at 800-1000' and I am running a 160 main, 42 pilot, needle clip in the 4th position and fuel screw turned 2.5 turns out from lightly seated. Running fine in 40F weather.
