LTE Dual Exhaust Dyno Chart & Pics
#3
From the pics it looks like the LTE requires removal of the air box (only direct mount filter) which some have already found through dyno testing not to be the optimal setup.

Looks good. 5.5 hp at peak, all other things being equal is impressive.
Were all things equal? What was the stock run setup? Was it run with a direct mount air filter, thus only making 38hp? Stock Hp on a SAE dynojet with flattrack tires should be about 43-44HP. The stock bike was still making peak power at 8000 rpm - none of our stock bikes make peak power up here. Stock CDI?
How much work to cut the frame and relocate things? What about the exhaust heat on the shock - suspension fade? Will it work on '02 as well as the new rear end setup on the '04?

Well, I was hoping for more. I think it would have been much easier, and appealing to reocate the battery and mount them on the outside of the frame. The way it is, he has narrowed his target audience down, way down.
I have to say if those dyno numbers are with the 96db quiet cores, than they are pretty good, but if not, then it wont out perform a good endcap. That being said , I hope to see some in person, so I can really see how it looks and feels.
