I just wonder which was preferred hot cams or the yoshi cams?

 

HotCams...great gain and I haven't heard one complaint about them.

 

I have Hot cams in my wifes bike, not one problem. Great Gains.

 

How hard are the cams to put in?

I'm just currious.Whats the difference between stock cams and hot cams that make them so much better?

 

They are about a 1-2 hour job to install. Its a little tricky, with two cams ans getting them both lined up, espicially since Hot Cams does a crappy job of putting index marks on the cams. You have to install them, the check for clearance, then basically undo almost everything to adjust the lash.
The difference is the lift (which determines how far the valve opens) and the duration (how long the valve is open).
