I know the price differences but which one is faster......more reliable...and can take a beating..

ok, the crf 450 is a motorcycle. the yfz 450 is a quad based on the wr/yzf dirt bikes. the trx450r is very, very loosely based on the crf 450. Ill assume you are comparing the two quads.

reliability is hard to tell as both bikes are less than a year old. The yfz is a little faster in a striaight line. The yfz has electric start and a kick option. the 450r is kick only. I would get on the machines and see what you feel better on. Some taller/larger riders have complained about being cramped on the yfz. now do a search in the yamaha and honda forums.
