I'm sure that most watched my "Food For Thought" fiasco play out. While most of you don't know what went on behind the scenes between the parties involved, I figure I would let you know how the entire situation concluded. I owe it to Lectron, Randy, and especially Eric (Mr. HP).

After all was said and done, and the appologies were handed out, I requested that someone from Lectron contact me. I sent this message through Randy..... Let's just say that Lectron must respect Randy.
I received a call Friday from the Vice President of Lectron Fuel Systems. This Lady was SHARP! Long story short, she took me through their investigation of the situation, informed me of the results and gave me an appology. Dr. Quance (spelling ?) spent almost 20 minutes with me on the phone, gave me more info than I could have ever hoped for and gave me a personal invitation to call her or her R&D staff anytime I wanted. To say that Dr. Quance is kind of bright, would be a tremendous understatement. As a consultant to the Pentagon, Holley, and MUCH more I think we're pretty safe with LECTRON carbs.

Point blank, from her mouth to my ears...

Mr. Oldham is only person that has done any extensive R&D with our Lectron Carburators for the DS 650.

As not to become a commercial for Mr. HP I'll start to wrap this up.
The Lectron may or may not be for you, only you can be the judge. I have seen the Lectron 48 smoke a TM 48, and I know that they work. What benifits will you see? I'll leave that to the expert. I can only say that when dealing with the expert, you can be sure that your best intrests will be his main concern - you can trust him! I do, and I may have been his most vocal critic. I will do business with him and LECTRON as long as my sled is in my garage, and as long as they are working with the beast known as the DS 650.

Wow sounds like you need to get out the knee pads and vaseline...JUST KIDDING... I think I will be buying a Mr. HP Lectron as a replacement for the stock one when I do upgrade, especially after all the testimonials.
