I have been shopping around since the begining of the month for a 400i 4X4 manual and figured out real quick to ask the drive out price so their won't be any surprises. The first dealer I went to gave me a price of $5399.00. I figured a drive out price of around $5700.00 after TTL. I was shocked when the sales guy gave me a drive out of $6125.00 ?????? He wanted to add $600.00 for freight & setup. Dealer #2 wants $6070.00. Dealer #3 wants $5499.19. The first two are in the Houston area, the third up by Dallas. This week I'm going to try to see if I can find some other dealers before I buy.

The only issue with buying a bike from out of town is service. The rotten low lifes @ tomball suzuki don't even want to talk to ya if you didn't buy from them, and are real a-holes about it. Even though they were $6500 otd. so $900 was worth the trip to Austin. The guys @aj foyt will service it but they have priorty issues. j&l agricultural in conroe want do warranty work because they say they have problems getting paid from A/C. The people @ tj's say that is B.S. but who really knows. But TJ'S is a first class dealer and I highly recommend them for both sales and service. Ask if they have any 03's left that will be your best deal. The owner @ j&l said he would match tj's price after the fact, maybe ,maybe not. but doesn't hurt to ask. Good luck and let me know if i can help, Also what you get.

I've been busy.
Dealer #4 says he'll match dealer #3
Dealer #5 wants $5549.00
Dealer #6 wants $5794.71
Dealer #7 wants $5878.65
Dealer #8 wants $6117.80
All are within about 150 miles of Houston with the exception of #4 he's in Houston.
I'm done shopping..... or am I???? Also just as a note, they stick it to you with the Freight/Set up charges some show it, some deduct it but they have a higher base price.
