Default In need of new quad

I have a Raptor and I like it but I don't like how if I hit the gas hardly at all it pulls wheelies. I am looking at a yfz450 because I have to keep up with my husband on a decked out Banshee which he just keeps adding fun stuff to. At least I have to try. Do you have any information on the yfz or anything that is not a kick start that might be awesome. PS I LOVE THE SPEED! Some people are trying to say the z400 or the 400ex is the better quad and I am not sure what to think!

I would really like to know how they all handle and how the tork is on all. And what are my chances on keeping up on the Dunes and Trails. Dunes more than trails!

Buy the way is there anyone out there that would like a slightly used 2001 stock raptor. Don't know the sale price yet!

I've seen the yfz's in action. they handle well, they are hella fast. you could hit a 3 ft. tall rock at 60 miles an hour and wouldn't feel it. LOL.
they are awsome bikes. the Z-400 is good but is a bit slower than the yfz and the yfz has better suspention. what ever you do don't ever ever ever ever buy a 400ex its one of the most worthless quads I've ever ridin. I'd rather ride my sisters lt 80, no kidding around here.

Looks like there is good and plenty kidding around here because if you would rather ride your sisters lt 80, I question if you have ever ridden a 400ex then.

I finally got to test drive the yfz and it was awesome and I loved it. I am a little shorter than the average girl and well I feel like I can control it a lot better than my Raptor which I am scared of 1st and 2nd gear on because I can't keep it on 4 wheels and when it pops up I am on the ground!

Thanks for the advice I really appreciate it. I hope that what I felt is true and that it is better controled than the Raptor!!!!!!!!!!!!1

have not heard any complaints. but have heard that the honda 450 is better because it comes with a kick start. just in case you roll it and mess up the battery so the electric start doesn't work. but you can get that for the yfz to. it just doesn't come stock.
just something to think about.
