I have been looking around as well, here is what I'm thinking about doing.
I want to get new heel guards seeing how easy those stock ones bend. (well for me they did anyway, I tend to rest me heel on the heel guard when I drag up the hill) So I started looking around and found 2 companys making nerfs with heel guards for the DS, one is AC the other is Pro Armor. (Pro Armor sayed there new nerf for the DS should be ready by the end of this month) The price is more then normal nerfs but you get the heel guards included for around 179 to 225. Where if you buy the nerfs then the heel guards your looking at around 300 dollars.
If anyone has a better way of geting heel guards and nerfs for a good price please let me know.

I'd go with the pro-pegs made by AC, all my buddies have them and they seem to really like them. Everyone has them for racing because they are so hard to bend. That's what my next investment is going to be.

Racerx5x5- hey, how do you like your set-up with the 15 front sprocket and extreme 22x11x10 9 paddle. that's exactly what I'm switching mine to, to see how much better it will to on the drag.

I love my X nerfs, but just the same plastic heal guards. I just want to replace the heal guards soon.
