Squeaky Swingarm
#1
Everytime I get on or off or over a whoop the swing arm squeaks so damn loud! I only have about 40 hours on it. I filled the swing arm zerk with grease but still the same. Any suggestions?

Cammer, I think it's something to do with the 2003 upper shock mounts - mine was squeaking this weekend as well. I put some Teflon lude on it which didn't help right away but once it got worked into the mount it got quiet again. Sparky is right.

Do it right or don't do it at all. I finally did mine before the lasttrip.
I lifted up the back of the quad a little then removed the upper shock mount and it was dry as the desert sand. I took out the bushings and liperally applied a water resistant grease. Put it back on and got on the quad. Not a sound. Took my time and it took maybe 20 to 25 minutes.
I was so happy with the results that I did the same thing to my stearing stem guide. That was dry and squeeking too. Steering was much easier this weekend and no squeeks.
Felt great to have her running like a top! Didn't hurt that she was a killer on the hill too Don't know what I enjoyed more, beating the Shee's or having them shake their heads when I nodded at them to line up.
