Default What paddels to buy?

I want to get another set of paddels for my wife 700! We currently have Kendal Gecko's, and they don't have the hook up I like! I thinking about the new sand stars, but they look a lot like the geckos! What would you go with, and is it just worth the money to go right to the Haulers? Also what size would go with? Our 700 is set up with Yoshimura duals, K and N air filters, and K and N jetting. Any help would be great help!

I have the 22" sand stars, but I haven't tested any other paddles for comparison. I had a hard time getting a roost... machine just wanted to wheelie. That was Pismo sand... which might be different than glamis sand or oregon sand or idaho sand. We might be heading to Glamis on Saturday so I can test them there as well. One thing I noticed was that it seemed like I was able to get them sliding in the turns really easy but as soon as I was out of the turn I could shoot forward with plenty of acceleration. So I guess they're decent... but other folks know better.

You are right in your statement that the Sand Stars are similar to Gheckos. And since you already have Gheckos, and want something better, why not get something alot better instead of a little better. I personally think the Extreme Haulers are worth the extra money, and that bigger is better when it comes to sand tires for the V-Force. The 22" Haulers work better than the 20" Haulers, and the 24" Haulers work better than the 22" Haulers. If you really want 22" sand tires, then at least put them on an 11" wide wheel.

I agree about the Skat trak extremes, 24 inch on 11 inch wide rims are the only way to go. I have a set with 9 paddles and they are totally awesome!!!

But they are for his wifes V. I would get the 22" sand stars. They are a better tire to turn and slide on. I have a pic or two of them on my camera.

I agree also, I started with V's and then went to 22 inch straight blade haulers and now 24 inch haulers, V's would be a good choice for her, unless she really likes to hill climb, then get her straight blades.

Thanks for all of your suggestions everyone! We went with the sand stars and tried them out a Sand Mountain this past weekend. Awesome! I was impressed at how I no longer got stuck in the sand and I felt more comfortable riding the walls.
