I have seen pictures and read the write up about it in the Dirtwheels, I personally think that it is a good idea to come out with a quad directed toward the racing market with options. I don't really like the way it looks, they probably could have done a little better with that, we will have to see how it performs. What does every one think.

Gas Gas is the company name the GNU is the name of the quad. It hasn't come out yet. It has a powervalve 2-stroke, that can be ordered set up for moto-x or xc. It has ohlins shocks all around
and I think the exhaust is going to be by FMF. I saw this quad in a Dirtwheels. It looks weird, but the options you can get are pretty good.Go to their web site and check it out.

I don't think that it was that expensive. Also, I have been wondering if the companies who make aftermarket 250r items are going to make a powervalve for the 250r. Well the wait is over, Duncan racing has a full 250r cylinder with powervalve and a different head, I think it is like the cool-head. This cylinder is about $1800, but if you are serious about racing then this is the ticket. It comes in two different power curves. One for mid range,MX TT On short tracks,XC,harescrambles. the other is a top-end curve. If you've ever wondered why race bikes(I mean motorcycles) can come out of a short curve and clear big doubles and triples, the reason is the powervalve. It gives you the power when you need it, adjust to the rpm range. When I can I will have a 250r set up for XC, and it will have one of these cylinders (promise)

Duncan might make a good MX motor but you couldn't give me one for woods racing. As far as this new cylinder, wait and see. Chad Duvall and Matt Smiley are suppose to have them when we return at the end of August.
