changing a clutch.. how long should it take?

Default changing a clutch

hey ya'll, i got a Mo' and its time fer a new clutch. how long do u think or know it will take to replace the fibers and springs? do you think about 2hours or so?

thats all i wanted to know. i have the fibers and the springs that ima throw in it and i just wanted to know the estimated time it should take..

2 hours if you have done it before. Be sure and wipe oil on your fibers before installation [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

alright, thanks man, i think i will do it this week, i still needa get the gasket and il filter. i will do it after the snow melts, and after i get my swing arm bushings in as well.

Default changing a clutch.. how long should it take?

I just had my clutch cover off to replace the shift shaft. I had to wait 3 weeks for the w/p gasket!

well guys thanks for the help.

i got it all on and all adjusted. didnt get t ride it yet. it was simple to do.

are u suposed to break the clutch in at all? cuz mine feels pretty hard, i think a lil wear, and it will be fine.

Put it in 2nd hold your front break and slip it just a little a couple of times. After that give her hell [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

i will do it as soon as i get my swing arm bearings in.
