wouldnt this be a site to see, Polaris could make an all new motor for the predator ( 700cc) and that could kill the new yamaha. Or they could just take 50lbs of the current predator and that would make it alot more compettive, i am not bashing the pred i am just saying they could do a better job of saving Lbs....... what do you think my fellow polaris owners

 

LOL If they need 250 cc's more to be comptative they have major problems. I think they could do some refining to be competative. I hate that Damn Yamaha! So far the only ones I have been able to beat are stock, mine isnt. Oh well I do like my Pred anyway.

 

Why would they do that, the pred already beats the rappy and yzf and 450r on top end now so why would they want to put a 700 in it???

 

Yeah no kidding, I really wish we could get something more like a 440 predator that was 2 stroke, but i highly doubt that is going to happen[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

What would be the purpose of a 440 2 stroke? You cant race anything higher than 250 or so professionally anyway. And the 4 stroke limit has been raised to 450.

The pred is kind of in between. Its not a big bore, and its not a factory racer. Maybe if they picked a side and went for it, they could really stand out.

 

yea the industry needs a another fast two stroke besides the banshee, Polaris should also compete in the factory racer cateogory its definatley got the potential

 

becareful what you say... i also thought that... then sunday evening i got smoked on top by my buddys... and when it comes down to top end racing... its more the quad then riding... so it wasnt rider error.

 

hozed be careful what you say, ther is something wrong with your predator it should not be getting beat on top end for sure. it should beat the rappy from start to finish. im going to have to bring my predator up there and let you ride it. so you wont think there slow any more.
