I finally wrecked bad enough to prevent me from riding for a few weeks at least. I was trying out my new Viosport Helmet Cam and decided I was going to ride this hill I have gone up at least 30 times. It was about 20ft high mud hill that starts out of a creek and goes almost straight up. Over the winter there must have been a lot of 4x4 quads hitting it because I noticed (after I wrecked) that ruts were much deeper than they ever had been. Well I went 3/4 up the hill and just lost traction all together. I started to slide back but my skidplate caught mud and ejected me and my quad straight down into a rocky creek bed. The Quad landed on my left Tibia (calf) from about 10-8ft in the air then came crashing down on my side and head. I was underwater when my buddy said he pulled it off of me. He said I was in the fetal position underwater. I stood up and passed out cold on dry land. I remeber him asking me if I was ok and I said I thought I broke my leg. I finally got up enough strength to drive my Raptor (severly bent steering stem) down an easier trail then get on the road to haul **** back to the truck.

I got most of it on tape and will be releasing it sometime this week if anyone wants to see it.

I need to buy a new steering stem and a rear wheel. I priced a stock black 04 raptor wheel and they want 200$ for it. The stem stock is 105$.

I am also glad I was wearing my AlpineStar boots , Helmet and riding gear or those rocks in the creek would have ripped me up.

Dont buy another stock steering stem, they are junk. You are talking to a guy who has bent 4 of them, the last 2 reinforced. For 200 bucks, buy new wheels. ITP baja t9 are very strong and have built in beadlocks. you can get a set of rears for less than 200.

THe camera was offset because I had it mounted a little flakey but you can tell I wrecked LOL. I will post pics on my site of the raptor and the Video. I just been too sore to do anything. I have been working on getting better so I can fix it. Thanks for the concerns guys. I know you want to see the video. It won't be long.
