Ok I see a ton of stuff about whos faster stock vs stock. Im dont really care all about that, Im curious how all these quads get the power to the ground.

So what is the stock gearing of these quads.

1. Raptor = 13/40, im pretty sure.
2. YFZ 450 = ?
3. Honda 450R =?
4. Predator = ?
5. DS650 =?
6. Banshee =?
7. KFX/Z400 =?

Any other comparibles that you might want to add.

 

Stock yfz450 is 14/38

 

i think the honda is 14/38 also...
pred is 14/37

 

Banshee is 14/41

 

That relation alone does not tell you anything.
You have to look at primary reduction, and each gear ratios also, and obviously which wheels you got.
If you post me here gear ratios, primary reduction, and sprocket ratios, plus wheel sizes I can tell you mph at different rpm per gear.

That is the figure you should be interested in!!

No I am most interested in final drive ratios which do tell me alot thanks though.

And what does final ratio alone tell you?

Just that alone tells me nothing. But given I know about all the other quads, size, weight, cc, tire size. I dont know gear ratios but I find that relative unimportant because im sure they are all similar.
