i got a 98 300ex and this summer i was going to mod it out some more with motor work.i was going to add a sparks piston(.80),cam,rockers,and springs,new clutch and 400ex carb.how much might this run me and how big of a differenca will i notice my other mods are listed below also i was goint to put on some 22in super swampers.any help will be appreciated.oh and how much should it run me to get the cylender bored?

 

oh yeah,who make pistons for curtis sparks?

 

If you want work done on your 300ex id suggest sending it into a place like powroll. Get a 352 kit, which comes with a high comp piston. Have them do headwork and a couple other things

When you changed out you front sprocket to a 14 did you have to take the case saver off. I have a 15 o nmine and i had to take my case saver off to fit it.

 

the case saver was already off when i bought it,and manual i dont make enough cash mowing yards to do something like that the mods i listed that i wanted is what i am prolly getting.

 

you could put a 250x cam in it there cheap and it helps.

 

The mods you listed above will probally run you pretty high probally about to low 600's-low 700's. .80 you will need a new sleeve which runs $140 from every place ive seen. Than the boring should run around 60. 200 there. New cams run about 150-200, I wouldn't worry about rockers, springs run you about $130 which than again I wouldn't really worry about. New clutchs are about $60 from what ive seen, and a 400ex carb are probally about $75
