I was wondering what the best setup for the 400 regarding swingarm length and a-arm forward placement for motocross was. Obviously +3 wide a-arms, but im not so sure about + 1 forward. Also how long of a swingarm? I think I heard 1.25" before, but im not sure. This will be strictly for MX. I am 6' tall at 170 lbs. if that helps. And heres one more, I am goin to get a lonestar steering stem to be used with tag T2 bars, CR low bend, and was wondering about should i get stock length or +1 , +2? I dont see what the advantages of higher bars would be, but let me know on what you all think. Thanks.

I thought most people ran +2 all the way around and maybe +1 up front...

yeah put +2+1 a-arms on and as for the swingarm i have 1 1/2+ both just remember the longer you get the harder it is to turn so i would go with stock lenth or +1 1/4

Don't do much with the swingarm. It is not bad the way that it is, but doug roll, I believe, said 1/4". Front A-Arms Most said that +3 was to much, I have lonestar +2 and it feels good. Don't get +1 forward, the 250r uses it and it works well but they say that the 400 works better without it. I am running a lonestar steering stem, stock hieght, with FMF 909 Quad Bend. That is one of the best felling combo's that I have found, and I tried alot. If you want to run cr hi's on it get a longer steering stem, CR highs are everywhere, get a set or borrow a set and put them on your stock steering stem and you will see what I mean.
