intake wont come off..... need suggstions
#1
Alright i was hoping to get my intake off to Mr.HP today, but upon trying to take it off (and i was warned about the tricky top screw)
i started to strip the top screw out....
i tried tapping it with a hammer but it wont budge even with that (i was using ball-end allen wrenches as well)
does anyone have any trick they would like to share as to how to get it off?
I was looking at it but dont know if i can get at it with needle nose vice-grips
any help is appreciated !

so you put the chisle up against the intake and just tried hitting it until the actual intake moved?
i was using a socket extension (only thing i had around me that would work decently) and a hammer with no luck....

It's hard to explain but you just try to rotate the bolt by tapping on the side of the bolt with chisle and hammer. Keep in mind you're trying to rotate the bolt not break it off, lol. there's enough room to get a chisle in there as long as the seat is off.

i think i see what your saying (just dosnt seem like it would make it come off)
maybe ill try using a flat blade screw driver... (dont know if i have a chisle)

When I took mine off I removed the bottom two bolts first and turned the intake. It loosened the bolt and gave me better access to the top bolt. I still had to use a ball end allen wrench.
