how does a 13t sprocket make a quad faster??

 

It will not make it faster becuase you are dropping a size in the front. You will notice your power increase on bottom end mostly

 

Actually I believe yrrej, has a lakota
and a 13t sprocket would be increasing a size,
what this sprocket does is take away SLIGHT acceleration, and add top speed....almost 3 mph or more...the more # of sprocket the more bite on rotations...

simpler terms....the 13t sprocket on a lakota is faster then a 12t sprocket on a lakota
