Default filling you in on the project

02' DS650 Baja base quad

Painted:
-Frame: Tangerine Pearlcoat orange (bright in the sun, burnt look in the shade with lots of mettalic)
-Motor: Graphite grey mettalic (charcol mettalic)
-A-arms: Graphite grey mettalic
-Swingarm: Graphite grey mettalic
-Steering Stem: Graphite grey mettalic


Powdercoated:
-Grab bar: Chrome
-Dash roll bar: Chrome
-AC bumper: Chrome
-Battery hold down: Chrome
-Heat shield: Chrome
-pegs: Chrome
-wire heat shield: Chrome
-radiator screen: Chrome
-brake pedal: Chrome
-triangular motor mounts: Chrome
-*side cases and a-arms next*-chrome

Ceramic coated:
-Head pipes: heat resistant silver

Plastic:
-Not real sure on what im going to do yet but it has to be wild and different...((open to any suggestions))


Motor mods:
-Shift mechanism was improved the same way harleys shift problems are solved (AMR Racing...Reno, TX)
-TVI crank
-JE piston rings ((rigns only))
-TVI Machined rod
-((((LOOKING FOR)))))
*Ported intake
*AFTERMARKET CDI
*TM45 Carburetor
*Some form of high line exhaust system

i would like to find some other small parts like steel braided hoses, skids, billet lights (6), and an aluminum air-box! these parts are hard to find used

i cant wait to see her back together and lookin sharp...i will get pics in about a month...if that...

I will get numerous pics of every little detail to show the quality of the work. This project has been fun...not to much longer now until its back on the ground!

maybe hes a lil worried that it'll turn out bad so if it does he takes the crap for it, n not all of u, jeeze, the guy is just tryin to protect u n ur gettin all pissy, tsk tsk

How does the chrome powdercoat look ?

well..look at an AC Racing front bumper...the one with the grill in it...and it looks almost just like that...it looks chrome..
