All you Honda Guys and Gals we need to stick together on this issue, or loose our rights to ride. The best way I know how is to vote for the people that will support our rights. This coming presdential election will count big time. Gore and the Sierra club is real tight! I like to ride and hunt, (DO YOU)?

I have posted several responses to that thread. The bottom line is the Sierra Club & others are better organized than the ATV people. The AMA is useless. Each state needs to organize a statewide club or organization, like the one in Minnesota. (See Rangerchets infor)

The only way to get the manufacturers attention is by hitting them in the wallet. When our riding places disappear, so will the corporate profits.

When this happens it might be too late. A good example is the Personnel Water Craft industry. Profits have continue to shrink after peaking 3 years ago. One reason is because there are fewer & fewer riding places. Artic Cat has quit producing the Tiger shark line up.

ATV sales are booming & so are the corporate manufacturers profits, for now.

Statewide clubs are good but I don't think they will be enough either. That and voting right I think is the answer. When these people come to our doors we need to tell them they are loosing votes for Gore. The word will eventually get back to him. Then the word to them might be (Backoff) Sierra Club. The bad thing about that is that they will start back up after he is elected untill they get what they want.

First of all poor people don't suck. Some of them didn't have a choice. My parents are poor and they where good hard working people. They didn't abuse the system like some that live on it. I usually vote for the best man, be it Republican, Democrat, or Independent. I don't agree with every politicians ideas, but I vote for the one that takes care of my rights. Right now that would be Bush. I consider myself middle class, but I come from a poor family. No shame in that at all.

I do believe the candidate Bush is the lesser of the "two" evils running for President. We can only hope that Bush can undo Clinton mess in regards to roadless initiative.

i was just kidding about poor people sucking

However, i always want republicans for many reasons, one of them being the power put in middle and upper classes not the general population. (Even though they don't say so, its what happens.) Once again I don't want to get into a political debate because I can talk for hours and typing will take days.
