I have the complete Big Gun exhaust system on my '00 400 and it has more power than stock. It pulls real hard down low and increases midrange and helps out on topend. It's more a torque pipe than anything and it's loud without being too loud. It's definitly worth considering just make sure you get your jetting right or it won't perform. If you want more of a mid and topend pipe than I would try out the DMC system or the Double Barrel by Duncan Racing.

there is a write up on the powercore4-2 on www.atving.com under product reviews. I talked to FMF and thy said that the powercore will delever gobs more power than the megamaxII. As for the head pipe I am waiting for the FMF PowerBomb(should be released sometime this week). FMF also said this is a power boosting system that will quit the powercore down a-little.. FMF all the way is what I say..

Curtis Sparks. Sub $400 price tag includes header and silencer. Header is ceramic coated so it won't "blue". Basically it looks brand new even after 6 months of riding. Spark arrestors are available. Power gains are incredible and NOTHING sounds as sweet!

Yeah, my cousin has a Sparks on his 400 and I liked it so much I just ordered one for myself. It is definitely not the answer for someone who needs to keep the noise level down, but we ride on private land or at races only so it isn't a big issue for us, and the power gains are impressive.
