Both quads are awesome and are neck in neck in power and speed.

A couple of the differeances are.

The Raptor Wheelies a lot better so if you're on trails it's easy to pop the nose over logs and what not. The pred can also do this but not as well.

The Raptor has reverse which i think is a big deal when trail riding. Pretty handy to be able to just back-up insted of getting off and spinning the nose around or pushing it around.

The Pred does not have reverse

The Pred has a better stance though and is less tippy then the raptor so it corners better.

Both quads are awesome it pretty much comes down to if you want reverse or not.

I do about the same kinda of riding as you, and I went with the Rappy. I very happy with it so far, and the reverse is nice to have.

Ok i know that the reverse is a big plus and thanks for the info on the raptor is easy to wheelie on. Do either of you or anyone else know how tippy is the rappy. I like to take corners quickly and love doing powerslides on turns even if its in the trails. I ride in trails that at times open up enough to hit 5th gear or my warrior and push 6 occassionaly. Is the rappy really tippy would it affect me in the trails or only when your racing on a track or pushing the higher gears. If anyone had info on how tippy the raptor really is please let me know. Would you say the raptor is tippier than a warrior?
thanks

I wouldn't say the Raptor is really tippy. Yes the Pred is less tippy but i don't think you would have any problems doing the kind of things you want to do if you know how to ride and with any quad use a little body english.
Also if you tighten up the front shocks it handles a lot better.

I think it handels better then a warrior and takes jumps better also.
