I have a Polaris right now and it's not fast enough for me. I'm looking into getting a new quad and for a while I was looking into a Banshee but with it being 2 stroke no reverse and over $3000 I quickly changed my mind. So I was wondering if I could find a fast Bombardier or a cannondale for under $3000

 

That is going to be hard to find. Try e-bay, they might have something. But u will get very lucky if u find a fast bombardier because these performence mods aint cheap if u know what i mean.

Cannondale on the other hand might be kind of expensive to because they dont make them any more and nobody wants to get rid of them. But u might come across someone, just keep ur ears open and eyes watchin and one might pop up somewhere. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Lance

 

I'd stay away from the cannondales since the company went out of business. Parts are going to be hard to find.

 

Didn't ATK or someone buy the rights to make Cannondale ATVs?

 

All the parts you need are out there, and yes, atk did buy up all the parts and I believe the leftover machines.

But you will not find a cdale for under 3k unless there is a lot wrong with it or the owner is really really hurting for money. If you want a fast quad for under 3k you have to look at an old 250 2 stroke, an older shee, or the closest 4 stroke would be a 400ex.

I stopped by the ATK facility this am and yes they did buy up all the old cannondale inventory. They are designing new plastic and logos and will continues building and servicing the cannondale market under the new name. The are still working on a new 2-stroke quad and a 900cc V-twin- they still don't have a time frame firm yet.

 

Wistech and a few guys in the cdale forum can get anything you want, from plastics to entire engines. All you have to do is ask.
