Default Plugging carb heater hose question on V-Force.

Is there anything I should be aware of when plugging up the small hoses that carry coolant to the carbs. Down at the pump is a no-brainer but up at the carbs I'm not to sure on...... especially where the small hose leaves the carbs and goes back into the larger radiator hose return line just in front of the battery box is what I'm concerned about. What is the proper way to seal those off. Thanks!

I used a flanged bolt with rtv on it to plug the waterpump, make sure an cut the bolt the same length as the nipple that was in there.Cut a piece of hose about 3 inches to plug the carbs up,make a u bend with hose to each nipple. To plug up the head connection I left about 2 inches of hose and pluged it with 1/4" alum.plug with a hose clamp to keep it tight. Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!

The carbs run cooler in hotter weather.Cool air means more horsepower and one less hose to leak coolant.
