Iowa Harescramble Racing, pudljumper?
#1
Hey guys, especially pudljumper, I noticed they updated the website again. Updated Are you pre-entering the races?? What is that for, just for less hassle and to be faster? I have one question, is there some kind of payback in these races?? I noticed that a front number plate is required for the holeshot award, I will probably put this on my front bumper, will that cause the quad to overheat? Throw any other info about what you are doing in there too. Thanks Brad

Bradracer,
Payback is only in the pro/A class. All the other classes will have some sweet goody bags for the top 5 places...gift certificates and other cool stuff! The number plate can go on the front bumper, I even had it on my frame just under the front cab, but I did feel it restricted a little air there. Just put it on your front bumper. Be sure to put it just low enought so you can still grab onto your front grab bar...never know when you're gonna hafta lift and tug! The pre-entry is necessary only for the first race if you have a particular number you want on your machine...it's the only way to reserve your number. Otherwise, you will be assigned one at the races. It's not really any less hassle, takes just as long and costs the same to fill it out at the races. But for Indianola, if you have a certain number in mind, gotta dish out the extra $.37 to mail it in! PM me if you have any more questions!

Hey pudljumpr, how the he!! are ya!
Look for us to be at every harescramble! I have talked alot with Andy at the IOHV annual meeting and at one of the monthly meetings right before we went to the 6 hour race in Texas. The annual meeting is the first time I have meet him and I really like what he is doing with this series! I'm running out of time to get all the Prairies ready, we are now racing 4 of them as a team! Mine is in Ohio right now with Tommy farr, he will be racing it in a few GNCC races and I get it back in July and then we will have it in some of the harescrambles! I sent it to Mickey Dunlaps where it was modified a little more, I already had the big bore in it,, and then after I talked with him a bit we decided to set it loose with Tommy in the GNCC! They will also be here to race it in the 12 Hour race! I think at this time we will also have 3 Prairies in the 12 hour race! LOL!! I need a bigger pit crew! LOL!!!
I like Andy's ideas for the contingency prizes, I have some of the sponsor forms here that I need to run around and try to help him out so our goodies are better! LOL!! I'm even thinking about tossing some $$$ in myself as a sponsor for the race here in Fort Dodge. Are you helping him or are you going to be racing?
