How do you take the belt off

#1 remove left floorboard (if nessary)
#2unbolt left rear fender on the bottom
#3 remove clutch cover (usally 4 screws and 6 clips)
#4 grab the belt in between th 2 clutches and pull towards your self so the belt rides up on the side of the secondary (back) clutch then spin the secondary cluth backwards and the belt should pop right off
#5 while your in there it wouldnt hurt to service
your clutches, spray any thing that moves with teflon lube( except the sheves that your belt rides on)
#6 when you put on your cover make shure your cover gasket isnt twisted or missing
